Ingredients
- 4 Cans Light Red Kidney Beans (15.5 oz.)
- 4 Cans Diced Tomatoes (14.5 oz.)
- 4 Cans Tomato Sauce (8 oz.)
- 1 Package McCormick’s Chili Powder
- 1 Lb Ground Beef
- 1 Large Onion
- 2 Tbsps Olive Oil
Directions
- Dice onion
- Add onion and olive oil to skillet and and begin cooking over medium-high heat
- While onion is cooking, take 2 square sheets or 4 select-a-size sheets of paper towel and fold in half
- Place paper towels on dinner plate
- When onion becomes soft, empty onto dinner plate to drain excess water
- Add ground beef to skillet and cook until it begins to brown
- While ground beef is cooking SHAKE then open all canned ingredients
- Drain kidney beans
- Add all canned ingredients into large pot
- When beef begins to brown, empty skillet onto dinner plate
- Add onion and beef into pot and bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes
Notes
- There are a couple different spice levels you can choose from for the chili powder or you can add ground chili powder to satisfy your spice
- An 80/20 mixture of ground beef makes for a better taste
